Hi Guys,
So I have 5 years experience in physician and surgery coding. I recently took a part time remote coding job that initially was for outpatient but I am going to be doing inpatient coding. I feel absolutely lost
! I am very confident in my ICD-9 coding, but when it comes to all of the cpt codes for inpatient, that is where I need help. What do I look for cpt code wise? Do I need to assign an e/m code for each day of the patient stay? Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
