Surgery performed was a Endoscopic carpal tunnel release. But at the bottom of the Op report it states
NOTE: The patient had an anomalous flat muscle belly proximal to the flexion crease of the wrist between the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon expansion and the palmaris longus tendon sheath, measuring approximately 3 cm long and approximately 2 cm wide. This was also transected and resected.
How would I code this????
I know the 29848 for the CTS but am stumped with the above note.
