Quick question.

We billed a S0199 (bundled therapeutic elective abortion) it covered two days worth of services.

We saw the patient 2 weeks later and a new patient E&M was selected. I feel as though the S0199 was face to face services and then makes the patient established.

Any thoughts, anyone?

yes performance of surgery makes the patient established for future office visits as its considered a face to face (even if patient wasn't awake)
