We have a new patient that came in for her yearly physical. She has multiple issues including md, g tube placement,cyclic vomiting,rad, scoliosis,seizure disorder. Needless to say she is on many medications. Our dr spent 1 hour face to face with patient for the rov. She then spent 1 1/2 hrs going over previous medical records and updating our records with all the info. I would like to bill an additional charge for this. Would i bill a sick visit with the well visit or can i bill prolonged services??? Dr spent time addressing each issue to see where pt was at. Thanks
