We are a small family practice and two of our providers have the same tax I.D. If an established patient from one of the doctors see the other provider for the first time are they considered new or established since they both have the same tax I.D?

Thanks

Raquel

They are considered established, only new when they have not bn seen at the same place of service for more than 3 yrs and also pay attention to new patiens cause the reimbursement is more than established patients
