If a physician just moved to another hospital but he keeps seeing some patients, how do you code these patients? new or established. I read the AAPC Coding Edge in July issue page 14 and states as New instead of E:confused:stablished. New is one who has bot been registed as an inpatient or outpatient at the FACILITY WITHING THE PAST THREE YEARS.
