Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on great links or websites with tools that I may utilize to put together a "How to Work AR" binder. Of course I could type all day long but there is always that chance of missing something. I was in Orthopedics for 6 years and now I am in the wonderful Pediatrics. I also would like some ideas of pointers on Policies and Procedures for the billing department, a great go to place for that. This office and the prior managers never developed anything. Any help in my short time frame would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks to you all. :)

Twila, may I suggest the American Academy of Pediatrics website, http://www.aap.org/
They put out a web-based coding newsletter each month, including the "Denial Den" feature. You have to have an AAP membership to access the newsletter, however, so perhaps one of your practice's physicians can help you with that.

Also a great source of practice management info: http://www.physicianspractice.com/

Best,
Will
