Please let me know where I can find in writing that the new selective injections with caths(93565,93566,93567,93568,etc) requires a 26 modifier or Not? :confused:
 
Take a look at the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. These codes aren't broken down into professional/technical components. Only global codes.

thanks. I did look at Medicare fee schedule database. But my coding software states it needs modifier 26. I think there is an error in the software.
 
You know what, my "scrubber" tells me the same thing. I've been ignoring the that message and having the claims go out without the -26.
