I work for an Article 16 OPWDD clinic and we are billing the new speech language pathology codes 97129 and 97130 both with the GN modifier to Medicare. We are now receiving CO4 denial. I'm not sure what is wrong. Everything I have read says it is a "sometimes therapy" code and and that SLPs must use a GN modifier. Please help!
