Wiki New to Behavioral Health arena

I am now working with Behavioral Health and it's new to me. Does anyone have any suggestions where to go to learn more? Any good references you have and really like that you'd recommend? Seminars? I'd like to get my hands on anything I can to learn more.

I am also new to the Psych world. Can someone please explain how they can bill a follow up consult code on a pt that they are seeing each day while the pt is inhouse?

There is no follow-up consult code. For in-patient care, your physicians should use subsequent hospital care code range 99231-99233.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been trying to get a handle on this area of coding. I just started working for a company that has this as a specialty so I am learning as I go. Nice to know that this site is here to keep me focused and compliant.
