I am new to Oncology/Hematology and am wondering if anyone can suggest good reference material/sources for learning and understanding Onc/Hemat diagnoses? Does anyone have any cheat sheets they could share? I've tried looking for seminars for Onc/Hemat coding, but haven't found any available. Thank you in advance for ANY help/suggestions you can give me!!

New to Hem/Onc

I recommend the CSI (Coding Strategies Inc) Navigator. Very easy to follow and very thorough. I have gone to many of the Crown Seminars.

Oncology Resources

The National Cancer Institute website has a lot of information including several dictionaries. www.cancer.gov
The dictionary of cancer terms is helpful when you are new to terminology such adjuvant, tumor lysis, Oncotype, well-differentiated, etc.
There is a drug dictionary as well.
The home page can direct you to information about specific cancers and informaion about clinical trials.
I have a short cut to this site on my desk top!
