The ob/gyn saw a patient in the ER Dept who has never been seen by any of the practitioners in any setting. Would the ER follow-up in the office setting be considered as an established patient since treatment has been rendered or a new patient due POS?

the guidelines for new/established don't mention POS, only whether or not it's same provider (or same specialty, etc.), so I would be inclined to say established patient, because they've been seen before.
