I have a question. I work for a Rheumatology group and we have a rounding system with another Rheumatology group (we bill different tax IDs).
For in-patient consults that group A saw as a new patient days 1-5 of admission then Group B takes over care days 6-10, can Group B bill out a New patient consult on Day 6 as they have never seen this patient?
