Our practice has multiple sites and just recently merged with another health center making them part of our of health center. These pts can still see the same provider they always have, in the same location and we bill established.

My question is what if the patient decides they want to go to one of our other locations and they see a provider they have never seen before. This is there first visit technically as a patient at our practice, last time they were seen was before the practice merged with us. Would this be billed as new?
