Do you agree that V72.19 shouldn't be used on inpatient hospital hearing screens

Can anyone tell me if it is appropriate for a hospital to code V72.19 for a newborn hearing screening before the newborn is discharged, in cases where an outside service is performing the service while the newborn is inpatient? Is is appropriate for a hospital to code for a newborn hearing screening unless the newborn fails the screening?
