Wiki Newborn subsequent and D/C same date.

1. Can you report 99462 and 99239 or 99238 or same date using 25 modifier on 99462?
Example:
10/03/13 99460 - initial exam normal newborn
10/04/13 99462-25 - subsequent exam done by different pediatrician same practice in the am
10/04/13 99239 - D/C newborn same day as 99462 later that afternoon.
When I ran this one through Encoder it said it was okay, but I don't trust it because it said #2 below couldn't be done that way.

2. Same question for a child who is inpt. then d/c on same date of subsequent but later in the afternoon. Do we roll all services for that date into the D/C code?

I would appreciate any and all help.
