Can someone tell me if a physician states that the newborn has slight jaundice, but no photo therapy was done. Do you code the jaundice or not. I feel it should be coded, because they are watching to make sure it is not getting worse. Need feed back on what other people are doing out there.

If the doctor write that he had it then code it, cause they can still diagnose and do no treatment....
