After 14 years as a licensed massage therapist, it is time to leave that field. Having obtained and in-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal and integumentary systems, and a working knowledge of the lymphatic and circulatory systems, and being a part of the healthcare branch for so many years, I wanted to remain in healthcare on some level. I had been thinking about becoming a CPC for a while and took the plunge at AAPC. I finished the course, and passed the certification exam and am now looking for a place where I can use skills from my BA in psychology and/or my knowledge of anatomy to advance my position within the company while maintaining and hopefully advancing that companies position in the market.
