At the facility that I work at we use the 3M encoder. My surgeons performed a Nissen fundoplication with Hiatal Hernia repair and now it asks for the Type of hernia. Is this something new? And does anyone know when this change took effect? My surgeons are giving push back on this, but I'm having trouble finding when these changes occurred. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
