The resting portion of the study was performed utilizing 9.7 mCi of technetium 99m labeled
Cardiolite. 0.4 mg of Lexiscan was given intravenously via bolus infusion. 30.7 mCi of Tc labeled
Cardiolite was then injected. Resting and post Lexiscan SPECT images of the heart were obtained.
Polar plots, cine and thickening images were obtained.
Result reversible perfusion defect involving the interventricular septum suspicious for ischemia.
There is no significant left ventricular dilatation post Lexiscan. There is normal wall motion. The
estimated left ventricular ejection fraction is 50 %.
