Wiki No Surprises Act - Good Faith Estimates

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know if there is a requirement for how long a Good Faith Estimate has to be valid? Our system is set up to automatically generate a Good Faith Estimate to be valid for a year but I cannot find any verbiage that this timeframe is actually required by CMS. Can each facility dictate the valid dates of the estimate based on facility policies?

I haven't seen any either. I wouldn't be surprised if they release something in the future.

CAN THE PROVIDER FURNISH A SINGLE GFE FOR RECURRING SERVICES?
The convening provider or facility may provide a single GFE for recurring services, as long as the GFE is updated at least every 12 months.

I read somewhere that the estimate is good for 12 months
