Hey all,

I wanted to see if anyone has experience with billing for patient transportation provided by physician's office. Is this covered by any insurance? I am billing for an internal medicine office in NJ.:confused:
 
You will have to check with the carrier. In Texas, Medicaid will cover a taxi to a provider's office if certain conditions are met. The City of Austin has a transport system that will provide transport to and from, again if certain conditions are met. It has been too long since I have dealt with this issue to offer specific information.
