Our clinic has 2 PA's & an issue has come up with another office that we requested medical records from. The provider we requested records from wrote on the record that we were breaching AAD guidelines by requesting records for our PA to review. I am unable to locate anything on the AAD website & would greatly appreciate any input. Thanks!

PA is licensed provider

The PA is a licensed and credentialed provider. I see no breach of any kind. I am assuming you have a signed consent from patient to obtain records.

Hope that helps.
