In Florida is it acceptable and billable for an NP to order an x-ray or perform an EKG and bill the global fee for the service when the collaborating physician is not in the office?
 
APP and Diagnostics performed in OFFICE

I'm not sure about Florida but in OHIO the NP (APP) can only bill the 26 professional component. The supervising physician would bill the TC portion. To my knowledge he does not need to be on sight but available.
