I really appreciate everyone's help with recent questions and hope you might have answers to the following:

Can an allergy shot be given to a patient if there is a nurse practitioner present and no physician? Can the NP supervise the patient for the 20 minutes they have to wait after the shot is given or does the physician need to be there?

Does anyone bill a rapid strep and a 99211 (with modifier 25) if a nurse performs both?
