For an entity that currently possesses eight (8) separate Home Medical Equipment (HME) branches that all share the same Tax ID number but possess separate and disttinct NPI numbers, when considering opening a ninth branch, does it have to apply for a brand new and separate ninth NPI number, or, can the newest branch be a subidiary/and or secondary location of one of the EXISTING locations/branches?
