Can a Certified Nurse Midwife bill for the Technical Component of a Fetal Non-Stress Test performed in an Inpatient Hospital setting?
 
No, in most cases the hospital is responsible for all technical services performed during any inpatient stay. If an outside entity provides any such services during the stay, they would need to bill and be reimbursed by the hospital for those.
