Hi All,
How many points for a new problem Bronchitis but no additional work-up done only a Rx. was given?
1.) It is automatic 3 points? or just 1 point?
2.) If it qualifies for 99214 with detailed HPI and PE
3.) In reference to the table below what is the difference between =number 3 and multiple in letter A

A.Number of dx <1 minimal 2 limited 3 multiple >4extensive

B. amount complexity <1minimal 2 limited 3 multiple >4 extensive


C.highest risk minimal low moderate high

Number of dx: 3 new problem w/ no additional work up planned
Amount of complexity: none
Highest risk: Moderate prescription drug management - bronchitis does not go away on it's own...
