Hi there,

I'm under the impression that for Medicare when we submit claims for an ICD that was implanted for primary prevention purposes and we attach a -Q0 modifier to 33249 that we now have to put on the claim the clinical trial identifier number.

Any idea as to what that number is? I'm not having any luck finding anything.

Thank you,
Jessica CPC, CCC
