Nurse documentation of Critical Care

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would know if a facility can have nurses document critical care times? I know normally a physician does and have never seen the nurse do it but now I am and the nurse will document for example 145 minutes and the physician documents 45. Which should I use and what it legal? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

The professional services have to be attested by the provider performing those services, so I'm almost certain that nursing documentation would not hold up in an audit of the physician's critical care claim.
