In our clinics we have either a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistance who is doing the main billing and seeing the patients. We do EECP therapy. When a NP or PA is substituting for another while they are on vacation how would I bill for those? Do I have to get them credentialed with every payer at every location? I know for Providers it is the Q5 or Q6 but those are not valid for NPs or PAs. How should these be billed appropriately?
