On nurse visits, can you tell me what is 'required' to bill out a level 1 E&M when all the patient does is come in for a pill count, script and urinary drug screen? Can we can only bill this if we have a provider on site, what are the regulations on this? Can we bill under the mid-level if one is present or not? This is in a pain management clinic in PA.

Please advise?
