Does anyone have experience with SNF E/M services? Our Cardiologist was asked to Consult on a patient that was in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a first time for us so we are very unfamiliar with coding for this. I'm not comfortable with what code set I should be looking at. He was not the admitting physician. He was just called over and asked to do a consultation. Our coding is mainly office and hospital. This is a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
