I have been trying to find an answer to this question that was asked by one of my providers. He stated that after you do the initial nursing home code then you can only do the subsequent visits once a week. I thought the codes were per day. Any help with this would be great.

Nursing Home codes

Everything that I have found indicates that the nursing home visit codes can be billed "per day", however, payers may have different rules for different codes that are allowed to be submitted.

The CPT book desctiption of this code is "per day".
