My provider approached me stating one of his doctor friends said that there is an "additional" code to bill for the FIRST patient you see in the nursing home everytime he goes. Like today he saw patient A B C & D, patient A would get the appropriate SNF code + this additional code, JUST for them being the first patient he saw that day. Does ANYONE have any idea about what direction I could take to find this?? Is there such a thing?
