Hello,

I wanted to get clarification in which order do we put the O codes and other signs and symptoms. If a 29 wks patient has abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, Hemorrhoids, difficulty sleeping. Would the following be correct? I work in the OBT.

O99.891- Other diseases and conditions comp pregnancy
O99.613- Diseases of the dgstv sys comp pregnancy
O22.43 - Hemorrhoids in pregnancy
O99.353- Diseases of the nervous sys comp pregnancy
R10.9- Abdominal pain

I've seen them the following way below:

I agree with your code choices. The sequencing doesn't matter as long as the first-listed code is the code that represents the condition primarily responsible for the encounter.
