Can someone tell me if epidurals and intrathecals are part of the OB global package?

Both of those procedures are usually done by an anesthesiologist & billed by them. Is your doc going to attempt to do these procedures themselves?

Usually an insurance company will consider this at 100% reimbursement when done at time of delivery.
 
Our provider does do them at the time of delivery instead of calling in the anesthesiologist...we were told in the past that we couldn't bill for them as it was part of the global package...
