Hi,

So anthem medicaid denied a delivery for dx but does not specify. Can someone tell me if O80 and O36.63X0 will deny if billed together.

No, those two dxs cannot be billed together and is the reason for your denial. O80 is for an uncomplicated delivery essentially meaning you do not have any other O codes to assign to the delivery. If you do have additional O codes to assign, then your delivery is no longer considered uncomplicated. If O36.63X0 is the only other O code that applies, then that is your primary diagnosis and your only O code. Make sense?
