Need clarification.....Can you charge an office visit w/mod 25 on OB patients that come in for High Blood Pressure and their routine OB visits at the same time?
 
you do not need the modifier 25. Just bill it out with the office visit and proper dx code separate from the global package
 
Complications are part of the OB package. Only if additional work is done due to the complication can you bill an E/M service. If the patient comes in for a regular OB appt, you note the change in blood pressure accordingly, but it is part of the package. If the patient comes in 4 days later for high blood pressure you can charge the E/M. That's my understanding. Documentation will tell you the difference of additional work or global appt.
