You seem to not have any takers on your general question. Could you be more specific with regard to admission? You may be asking if the ob hospitalist can bill an initial hospital visit when he/she admits the patient rather than the OB of record? If that is the question, please flesh out more details such as amount of work, whether the patient is also seen by the regular OB, etc.
