Good Afternoon,
I am in need of help with a tricky delivery situation. OB patient with double uterus is pregnant with twins - one in each uterus. Twin A is born via vaginal delivery one day (late late at night) and Twin B is born via C-section next day. If these deliveries had occurred on the same date, I know how to bill this out.
It is the two different dates of service that is confusing me. I am inclined to bill nsvd and c sect only (each with their respective dos). We will submit on paper and attach a letter. Does anyone think I need a modifier or a better way to do this?
Thank you all so much

I'm thinking you'll want a modifier.......you may want some guidance from your payer as to how they want it billed to give you the best chance.
