Does anybody have any tips for observation billing? I don'tm know where to begin? Like this question?

Physician coding?

I only code for physicians, so that's my area of expertise.

And I don't see any evidence that the physician saw the patient at all. So I wouldn't bill anything for the physician.

Yeah, where's the exam? This just looks like Orders and a nursing log to me. If the provider is asking to bill for this, you should send them the requirements for the Obs codes out of your book. Either they send you this by mistake, or they are trying to find out if they can bill for orders.
