Question hosptial lists patient as beeing in observation for 1st day and then
Inpatient Admit the next day

99220 for Observation 1st day

Admit Inpatient ? 99222-99223 tor the next day ?

what if you have another hospitialist rounding on the second day inpatient how do you
do an Admit for the patient?
 
Obs to Admission

Day 1 - initial observation 99218 - 99220

Day 2 - initial hospital care 99221 - 99223

I am not sure what you are asking in the second part of your question.
