Wiki # of codes on new 1500 submitted electronically

I know that new 1500 form has 12 dx spots. However, each CPT code still takes 4 dx codes. Am I right? I've been told by one doctor at the meeting that CMS still accepts only 4 dx codes and not 12 if submitted electronically. Basically that the new 12 spots only apply to paper form. Is that true?
 
No the 12 dx spot was effect 1/1/12 for the electronic form. If you look up info on the 5010 transaction you should be able to find this information. You can link only 4 per CPT line item.
