I am looking for anyone who can help with coding for an office based outpatient vascular suite. I need to know if there is seperate coding for the surgeons and for the office facility.
Thank you
Dalanna

Procedure wise you would have to bill the procedure code with a 26 modifier.. You would bill the code with no modifier if the procedure is done in the office.

The procedures would be percutaneous transcatheter endovascular revascularization not radiology. The modifier -26 doesn't apply to these codes.

I coded for Vascular surgeons that did their procedures in the office and it is the same except the S&I code if any would be billed global with no 26.

Jenifer, Thank you, that is what I thought. It would just be the one charge. Do you still code for vascular? If so is it possible if I can contact you with questions that I come across occasionally?
Thank you,
