hi all!!! a patient of ours came in for an office visit. He also had a ANSAR and CVP tests in the office. Medicare originally paid all the services, but then reversed payment, because he was in a skilled nursing facility on that date. When I called Medicare to question the reversal, I was told that Medicare only pays for certain services when a patient is in a SNF. Is billing the patient the only alternative? Is there some modifier that should be added to the services to get it paid? Please help!! Thank you all in advance.
