If a providers sees patients and MCP visits for dialysis and also sees the patient in the office on days other than dialysis days to eval the access for infection or pain, is this included in the MCP charge? I have printed the info on what is included in MCP charges from Palmetto website and this is what I understand to be true. Thanks for any help.
 
Hello,

Anything in an OP setting (home, office, SNF) ESRD related ALL count toward MCP. So you will not bill those services separately.
