As of 6/1/13 the LCD L32007 LOW VISION SERVICES--on the Fundus Photography 92250 all the dx codes have changed (i'm in kansas) The dr. that I code for has "always" per there office used the glaucoma or preglaucoma dx 366.50 and the LCD doesn't show that dx any more. Can anyone give me some guidance?

Thanks so much, ZWomack, CPC

ks (wps) LCD on 92250

We just contacted Medicare and they clarified that the dx of glaucoma is not a covered dx anylonger and the medically necessary dx codes are listed on the LCD L32007---MC indicated that this MAY be a local determination for only kansas.
