Our office is a primary care practice that acquired a behavior health practice and now have "integrated care". Previously our BH Director had his own practice for 30 years and we are a little confused about billing the units on the neuropsych testing (96118) -- he was told at some point that it should be billed as an 8 unit test, however the actual code description states that it should be billed per hour. I am by no means an expert on psych coding so I was hoping that some one could clear this up for me so that we can make sure we are billing these testing sessions correctly. Thank you
