We have a physician in our OB/GYN practice that takes call for another physician in another practice. Our physician will deliver babies and do surgeries for patients in the other physician practice. How do we bill for these encounter?
 
Physician covering another practice

Be sure the secondary location is added to the Physician covered locations of practicing with Medicare and other payors. He would bill under his NPI but the location on the 1500 claim block 32 would have the correct location of where the encounter/procedure occurred.
